Impact & Community

We prioritize enhancing well-being across all ages in Colorado and strive to positively impact our city. Our commitment encompasses bolstering childhood healthcare, advancing disease treatment and prevention for both children and adults, and eradicating childhood hunger. These intentions are achieved through partnerships with the Children's Hospital Foundation, Alzheimer’s Foundation and Food for Thought.

Walk to End Alzheimer's Flyer

Alzheimer’s Foundation

Each year Sparks Financial participates in the annual walk along with clients, family and friends to join the fight to end this deadly disease by raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

In 2019, Sparks Financial was recognized with the Alzheimer’s Foundation Rising Star Award for raising more than $10,000 from 50 different donors. Our annual goal at the walk is to raise $10,000 and we did it again in 2022.

Food For Thought

Since 2012, Food For Thought Denver has been working hard to ensure children in the Denver area don’t go hungry, and Sparks Financial is an active supporter of this important mission through volunteer work and fundraising.

The 100% volunteer organization was created to address the food gap for many children in the Denver-metro area, especially during weekends. Food For Thought today distributes weekend food bags at more than 70 Denver area schools. Each bag, called a PowerSack, provides enough non-perishable food to feed a family of four for the weekend.

Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation

Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation

Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation was established in 1978 and is dedicated solely to advancing the mission of Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Thanks to donations large and small and the generous philanthropic spirit of our community, Children’s Colorado is able to provide the family-centered care for which we have become world renowned. From conducting cutting-edge research and treatment to building kids’ confidence through our hospital sports program, providing family sleep rooms and integrating arts therapy into the healing process, Children’s Colorado is truly unique in its approach to treatment.

Our team at Sparks Financial committed to giving $100,000 to build a new playground at the Colorado Children’s Hospital, South Campus. We met our goal this year! A special thanks to our clients who chose to partner with us to make an impact for the kids and families here in Denver.
